Freebie: Avatar Sample

Today’s freebie is a sample from my Girl/Boy Avatars set. One girl and one boy, each in full color and one color outlined version. Transparent PNGs are included, as well as an EPS file, so you can change the color of the avatars and scale them to your preference.

If you want to check out the whole set, you can do so at Creative Market and Sellfy.

Thanks for looking and here’s your download!

Avatars, the Follow-up

Girl/Boy Avatars

In the post before last, I’ve talked about updating the Girl Avatars that can be found on Creative Market. Well, the avatars are now up and available for purchase, so if you’re interested in taking a peek, you can do so by clicking the link in the text. The image above shows several possible variations of two avatars from the set – the outlined version, the grayscale version, and the regular and alternative color schemes.

Avatars Update

Recently I’ve took on a mission of updating the Girl Avatars I’ve presented back in March 2014 (phew, can’t believe it’s already been a year). The girls were joined by several boy avatars in the meantime, and they’re being updated as well. So far it’s still work in progress, but you can see an example of an updated avatar in the image above.

Overall, there aren’t any huge changes, at least not on the surface. The colors have switched to lighter, pastel tones and the faces have received new eyes and lips. The biggest change is underneath where I have cleaned up the elements to the maximum, cutting out and blending where necessary. As a result, the heads are no longer interchangeable, but, as a bonus feature, each avatar will come with an outlined version alongside the full colored one.

Some avatars won’t make it to the final selection though. In the image above, you can see two older avatars (left and center) combined to make a new one (on the right).
